Note to all customers regarding Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

Due to these unpresented times and to ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of all our staff and customers, our Weighbridge is closed to all members of the public.

We are happy to advise that skip hire, collections and delivery are still available.

Our aim is to continue offering this service for as long as reasonably practicable, however, as the situation continues to develop, we may need to make further restrictions to our normal service.

At Shaws Waste Recycling Ltd, the health and safety of our customers, staff and sub-contractors is vitally important to us. As such we are working hard to safeguard the wellbeing of all involved and are following all recommended steps to avoid the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in line with the guidance set out by the Government and Public Health England.

Additionally, we have implemented the following extra steps to enable us to continue to provide an efficient service as well as helping to protect our customers and staff.

All staff at Shaws Waste Recycling have been made aware of the impacts of the virus and the appropriate measures of social distancing.

Drivers and yard operatives have been advised not to interact directly with members of the public. Payments will need to be made online or in advance prior to delivery of the skip wherever possible to avoid the spread of disease.

With immediate effect, customers are not required to sign for their skip delivery until further notice. However, the drivers will obtain the customer’s name and date of delivery.

Furthermore, we have increased the frequency of vehicle cleaning, all staff have been provided with anti-bacterial wipes and spray for their vehicles, plant and office areas.
